For the purposes of the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL), Prosound Electronics FZE LLC acts as the Data Controller for all customer personal data collected via theaudiosouq.com and our official WhatsApp communication channels.

2. Categories of Personal Data We Collect
- Identity & Account Information: Full name, studio/company name, email address, password hashes, and user preferences.
- UAE Contact & Delivery Logistics: Delivery street address, building/studio unit, Emirate (Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman, RAK, Fujairah, UAQ), and mobile contact phone number (including WhatsApp numbers for courier dispatch coordination).
- Order & Billing History: Purchased audio equipment, proforma requests, tax invoice records, and discount coupon usage. We do not store raw credit card numbers or CVVs on our servers; all card transactions are processed securely via PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant gateway partners (Stripe).
- Customer Support & Communications: Records of inquiries submitted via contact forms, emails, and live agent chat transcripts.

5. Data Retention & 30-Day Deletion Grace Period
In accordance with UAE VAT Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 8 of 2017), transaction, invoice, and billing records are retained for five (5) years. Account information is retained while your profile remains active.
If you submit an account deletion request through your Profile Dashboard, your account enters a 30-day grace period before complete database anonymization, allowing you to cancel the request or download historical tax invoices if needed.
6. Your Rights Under UAE PDPL
Under UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021, you have the right to request access to the personal data we hold about you, request rectification of inaccurate details, request account deletion, withdraw marketing consent, or restrict automated processing.
